Following the chosen theme for the 2016 Coeur d'Alene Charter prom, the invitations move to prepare the beholder for a night of excitement with "Alice in Wonderland."

The obstacle when approaching this design was overcoming the dark messages and ideas presented through the Wonderland universe. To remedy the design towards a lighter attitude whilst keeping classic motifs, bright patterns and colors were chosen to command the feel.

Additionally, as with all good story telling, there is a deeper message for the lingering looker. On the invitation side that bears the title "Down the Rabbit Hole," the objects and characters can be seen falling in different directions. This symbolizes how despite the current common theme (high school, prom celebrations) that the participants will soon fall in their own separate directions.
