"jen kozeliski" mural
PROJECT SCOPE

This 90 foot by 9 foot mural was in homage to the late, Jen Kozeliski, a beloved teacher at Corvallis Primary School in Montana.

The goal of the mural was to include various art pieces that Jen herself had created and to include the outdoor/Montana themes her art and life focused on.
​
As a result, this mural displays animals and vegetation from around Montana (in my style) that were inspired by Jen.

Katie reached out to me and we started working through the details of what this mural would look like and when it would take place. With a short window and a quick turnaround, like all great art pieces, it was an immediate "pedal to the floor" situation. And not to mention the impending amount of youth volunteers...
There were roughly 450 volunteers under the age of 11 for the first week of painting.
Then, the next week was time to clean everything up and make the wall look more like a cohesive piece of art.
