This passion project started it all.

I wanted to explore what it would mean to use illustrations on packaging for the first time. I poured over packaging at the grocery store, setting up camp in the beer aisles and taking as many pictures as I could, particularly obsessed with Odell Brewing designs.

Before Blue Point came calling, there was Sebastian Brewing Co., a self initiated passion project built entirely around character design for individual bottle labels. Each label got its own personality, its own world, its own reason to exist beyond holding beer. Blue Point found it, loved it, and reached out. Sometimes the work you make for yourself is the best pitch you will ever give.
