COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO“Fosterful Forest” Mural
The Fosterful Forest mural was painted inside the Coeur d'Alene Department of Health and Welfare, in a room designed to comfort children awaiting foster care placement. In collaboration with Fosterful, a nonprofit dedicated to serving children in foster care, the goal was simple and significant: transform a clinical waiting space into something calming, playful, and full of life.
The result is a mural that has become a focal point of the room, offering children a visual escape and a sense of warmth during what can be one of the more uncertain moments of their young lives. It is a reminder that public art does not always belong on a downtown wall. Sometimes the most important walls are the quiet ones.
